Rob and Terri were nice enough to invite us to join them for the K-9 trials and dinner today. Kelly and Dave were able to join Noelle and I at the dinner. We all had a fabulous time! Kelly and Dave walked away with a huge dog crate (I guess they’ll be adding to the family soon) and I won a huge box of General Mills food. I’ll be doing some baking.
On July 23rd Niko, a San Joaquin County Sheriff’s K-9, was shot and killed while working in Lathrop.

The trials today were dedicated to Niko and his handler Ryan Biedermann. Kelly has more details about the incident and how you can make donations to K-9 pack in Niko’s name.
