It’s no secret that I love to take pictures. Today as I was cleaning up the playroom with Noelle, I started looking through a couple of the albums that were laying on the floor that the kids had gotten down. I love looking through the albums and seeing the kids transformations and looking back at all of the fun times that we have had together (and there have been a lot). I have 25 albums that 500 pictures in all of them for a grand total of 13,000 pictures. That doesn’t include the stack that I have that I don’t have albums for yet or the ones that haven’t been developed yet. I started the albums when Thomas was born and he’s only 4 1/2. That’s a whole lot memories. It’s amazing to me how fast time flies and how big that the kids get and how quickly the kids change in just a short amount of time.
As, I said in my last post, Kelly and I took the kids to the Sacramento Zoo and Fairytale Town a couple of weeks ago. While we were walking through Fairytale Town we were talking about our last trip there in March 2006 and how small Thomas was when we went. I tried to take some of the same pictures that I remember taking when we were there before to do some comparisons. So, here we go.
Noelle’s transformation has also been huge in just the past year alone. To think that at this time last year she wasn’t even walking to seeing her dancing and jumping to Barney today is amazing!
Since she has started playing with her babies, she has always been such a good Mommy (other than always wanting them to be naked). She is constantly changing their diapers, feeding them, rocking them, reading to them, singing to them and even putting them in timeout when they are misbehaving!
The next ones were taken today.
Getting ready to give the baby a bath
Teaching the baby to use the potty and even teaching the baby how to flush the toilet.
Taking the baby to the zoo
Changing the baby’s diaper.
and reading to the baby before her nap.
She is such a good Mommy.
Lastly, even though I don’t get to see Tyler nearly as often as I would like. I’ve been pretty lucky to see him as often as I have this year. I spent a week with him in San Diego, then he came for the weekend for Kelly’s wedding, we saw him for a short time a week ago, and then he is coming again in September for my Mom’s wedding. Each time he has changed so much and is always doing something new. His transformation is just as amazing as Thomas’ and Noelle’s.
I love these kids and I love to look back and see how much they have grown, how their personalities show through in the pictures, their happiness in all of their experiences, and especially how totally cute they are!!!
How time flies…
