Santa Parade

Who doesn’t love a parade? I for one love any kind of parade. I love sitting on the sidewalk and watching a parade with all the kids. Dave’s mom has been taking Thomas and Noelle to a Santa parade for the last several years the day after Thanksgiving in Sonora. This year since Dave and Kelly were off we thought it would be a great idea for us all to go.

My mom and Chris had spent Thanksgiving with my Aunt Linda and had decided to spend the long weekend there so they had a hotel room right on the main street that the parade was on. The plan was for us to go there a couple of hours before hand to relax and visit with them but there wasn’t much relaxing going on…. I’m not sure what we were thinking.
 
Once it got dark we headed outside for the parade. It was SOOOO cold outside but the kids did great and didn’t complain that much.


I really liked this picture of Kelly and I. We very rarely get a picture together so I’m glad this one turned out.

Afterwards we headed over the Round Table pizza and had some dinner. One of Hope's new favorite things is the "Itsy Bitsy Spider" as you can tell in this video. This was a great way to start the Christmas Holiday season. I'm really looking forward to all of the activities we have planned.
