I think everyone knows how much I LOVE the 4th of July and this year was no different. This year I have tried to become more “domestic” so I decided to try and make a flag out of cupcakes. The week before the 4th I went to the candy store and bought a bunch of different red and white candies and went to JoAnn’s to get some tips from the ladies there. After getting some tips from the ladies and spending about $50.00 on supplies I was ready to start. So, the morning of the 4th I started making a TON of cupcakes. Then I started mixing icing. Before I knew it my flag was coming together. Although it didn’t turn out exactly how I wanted it, for my my first attempt I think I did pretty good.
Kelly’s court always has a block party on the 4th so we were lucky to be invited to join in on the fun. We all had a great evening. Everyone brought a ton of food, the kids all played together and the adults had a good time relaxing and watching the kids. We even had our own private fireworks show thanks to Rob and Dave.

Andrew playing in the sandbox. I think he is one of the CUTEST boys ever and he is totally sweet!!!! I’d steal him and take him home with me if I could!
