We’re having a baby….

It’s time to have a baby right? We are all very ready for baby Hope, baby LeAnne, or baby Heidi to come join us especially Kelly.  She hasn’t been feeling well the past few days. Early this morning she started having contractions so after loading up all the kids at 4:00 AM and dropping them off at Grandma and Pop’s house Kelly, Dave and I headed to St. Joe’s completely sure we were bringing home a baby girl with us. BUT….

 

We were all wrong. After several hours in the hospital we were sent home with no baby. But look how good Kelly looked at 4:15 am!

Outside Bathtub???

Grandma and Pop got the award for Karly’s favorite birthday gift. I don’t think they thought it would be used in this way though.

Apparently Karly thinks that the water table is an outside bathtub. At least she is using her imagination right? 

And heck if Karly gets naked to play why shouldn’t Thomas and Noelle join in on the fun.

 

And when we’re done outside lets go inside and play… naked.

That’s normal right???

Summer fun

I love seeing the kids having fun together. There is something about their giggles, their smiling faces and joy they have when they play together that warms my heart.

It’s a slip n’ slidin’ party

Noelle and Karly have a birthday just a week a part so we had a joint party for them. It was a perfect day for a slip n’ slide party.

It’s Jellybean’s 2nd birthday. She is the most loveable and funny little girl around. Karly will always put a smile on your face!

Last day of preschool and 1st grade

Thomas and Noelle had their last day of school on the same day so it was a busy day.

We started it off with the last day of preschool for Noelle.

Noelle had a great year. She has really blossomed. Last year she literally wouldn’t talk to any of the kids and would only speak to one of her teachers. This year she has made some good friends and absolutely loved her teachers.

 

Thomas also had a great year. He did great on his report card. He made some great friends

Christina came to visit

I got a call not to long ago from Christina’s husband, Matt, saying that he wanted to surprise Christina with a visit to California. I obviously jumped on that! She hasn’t come to visit since she moved to Idaho three years ago. I’ve been so excited for the last month and several occasions just wanted to call and tell her but I didn’t. Matt and I did a great job at keeping it from her until three days before the trip.  

Thomas was thrilled that Christina was going to be here to go to his baseball game. He was just a little boy and just learning to play baseball when she moved away so this was very special to him.

Karly was cracking me up with all of her funny faces. She’s just to cute.

We had a fabulous weekend with Christina and can’t wait for her to come back soon.
