Oh Snap!

A few weeks ago I was outside playing with Buttons and then I went inside to get a drink.  When I opened the door to go back outside Buttons ran into my leg with her head.  After a little more than two weeks the bruise still looks like this.

You can’t really tell there but it’s about the size of a softball.  I don’t think I have ever had a bruise like this before.  Buttons is one crazy dog!!

Happy 4th Birthday Princess

004

Yep, the Princess has turned 4.  I can’t believe it either.  She has had an amazing year and has really come out of her shell.  She really is a princess.  She loves to have her nails painted, her lip stick on, a bow in her hair (although she HATES getting her hair combed every morning) and wearing a pretty dress.  Don’t be fooled though she is isn’t to big of a princess that she can’t get her hands dirty or keep up with the boys.  This Princess has no fear.  Whether it’s riding down the driveway on the scooters, playing in the dirt with her Dad or jumping into the deep end of the pool Noelle is up for just about anything.

Happy Birthday Princess!!!  Auntie Loves YOU!!

Happy Frist Birthday Karly

I can’t believe that Karly is a year old already.  Just thinking about her birth and all of anguish we had.  Is is really our miracle baby.  She had such a difficult start and she has had such an amazing year.  She is growing and doing really well.

I honor of her birthday I thought I’d put a list of the top 5 things that I love about her

1. Her bright blue eyes

2. Her raspy giggle

3. Her love to cuddle

4. Her fighting spirit

5. Her easy going personality

She is such an easy fun loving baby and I can’t imagine life without her!!

Happy Birthday Jellybean!!!

He did it… He graduated.

I can’t believe it but he did it.  He graduated from Kindergarten! Where has the time gone.  It seems like yesterday that he was learning to walk and talk and now he is graduating from KINDERGARTEN.  He has come so far over the past year.  The first couple of weeks were really questionable. Doing homework was such a struggle.  Mainly because he had never had to go to school everyday and then come home and do more school work.  It was a huge adjustment for the whole family.  Over the weeks and months it got much easier for everyone involved.  It was amazing to see the progress that he made over the school year.  He started out a quiet and shy boy that would much rather play by himself and stick to himself in class to a playful, friendly, polite boy.  He was lucky to have such a wonderful teacher that made learning fun for him.  He never complained about having to go to school and always came home with a story to tell. His Auntie is VERY VERY proud him.

The end of an era… So long to T-Ball

IMG_3092

To celebrate the end of the baseball season the kids were invited to go down and walk the baseball field at the Ports game. Thomas thought that was fantastic.

Twins?

My Mom bought Thomas these really cute pajamas when he was a baby.  Since they were so cute we have had Noelle and Karly wear them too.   I’ve always thought that Thomas and Karly look a lot alike.  I think these pictures really show it.

This picture was taken on his 10 month birthday.

Karly is 11 months old

I can’t believe that Karly is 11 months old today! I don’t know where the time has gone.  She is just to cute and she is the happiest baby I have ever seen.  She has such a great personality and just goes with the flow.  She loves her brother and sister and they love her to pieces.  We have joked since she came home that she would be lucky if she was still alive on her first birthday.  Noelle can’t seem to keep her hands off of her.  She loves to carry her around like she is one of her baby dolls.  I really hope that when they are adults that they have the same loving relationship Kelly, Troy and I have.

Easter 2011

We had another busy Easter weekend.  Saturday afternoon we celebrated at my Dad’s house.  The kids had fun coloring eggs and having an egg hunt. Grandpa is really good at putting extra special surprises and money in the eggs although Thomas and Noelle had just as much if not more fun hiding the eggs for Kelly and I to find.  For some reason Thomas really got a kick out of Kelly and I hunting for the eggs.  I haven’t seen him laugh so much in a very long time.  Then Dad made us a great BBQ dinner.

Then on Sunday we went to church and then celebrated at Kelly’s house.  My Mom and Chris came and had dinner and we had another egg hunt with the kids.
