Family vacation- Lake Tahoe- Day #2

Thomas, Noelle and I stayed in one room while Kelly, Dave and Karly stayed in another.  I think Thomas, Noelle and I had more fun in our room by far.  Where else do you get grape soda for breakfast?

We decided to go to this little shack of a restaurant for breakfast.  It was great! We were able to sit outside and enjoy the great weather and we had a fabulous breakfast. 

We learned a great lesson that day.  When you get to the restaurant you should always ask what kind of payment they take.  After we had our fabulous breakfast, I went and attempted to pay our bill with my credit card and was promptly told they didn’t take credit cards.  They only took cash and local checks.  We were very lucky that I had some cash on me that day because normally I don’t.  That could’ve been very embarrassing.

After breakfast we went to the grocery store and picked up some stuff to have a picnic lunch at the beach.   

Noelle and Dave took a long walk along the beach.  Afterwards she was pretty hungry and managed to eat just about a whole bag of chips on her own.  Thomas and I played in the sand and tried to find creatures in the lake. 

Karly did what she did best…. sleep.

  Kelly was able to relax and spend some time with Karly.

We all had a great day at the Lake.
