Father’s Day

This year my Dad had an extra special Father’s Day.  Troy, Julie and Tyler were here from San Diego for the Mertz Wedding the day before and stayed at his house.  So, Sunday we had a nice relaxing afternoon.  Kelly and Dave came by on their way out of town for their honeymoon. Troy and my Dad enjoyed watching the US Open while Julie and I were able to visit and look for new recipes to share.  And of course we all enjoyed playing with Tyler. 

Troy made some great BBQ shark, shrimp and vegetable skewers.  Dad made Tri tip sandwiches and macaroni salad, and I made homemade Cookie’s and Cream ice cream.

We had a great lunch and then Dad drove Troy and Julie to the airport.  It was really nice to spend time with them and my Dad loved having them there for Father’s Day!!!
