Decisions, Decisions, Decisions!!!

I have been having a difficult time trying to come up with an idea of how to decorate Noelle’s bedroom at my house.  This is especially difficult when you have no interior design skill.  First I came up with the idea of doing angels with pink walls and this border 

I ordered it and picked it up at Lowes last Monday.  I took Kelly with me later to help pick out paint that would match.  As we were talking she brought up a good point.  Eventually Noelle is not going to be a fan of Angels.  And sense I’m not made of money I want something that she can have over a long period of time.  So, I returned the border.  And in Michele fashion I started to perseverate on how I was going to decorate her room. 

Kelly and I talked and came up with Cherries.  I have a pair of the cutest cherry PJ’s with red and white gingham and thought that it was a cute idea.  I searched the internet for HOURS last week perseverating on finding cherry fabric that I could make a curtain and pillows with.  I found a cute red bed spread in the JcPenny catalog that would be perfect.  By Thursday I had given up on finding a CUTE cherry fabric.  I thought cherries would be easy to find but I was wrong. So, again I went to Kelly upset that I couldn’t find anything. So we decided to take a trip to IKEA hoping to come up with some cute idea.  It was a perfect excuse to get out of town and take the kids to do something fun.  So, we hopped in the car on Saturday and drove up to IKEA in Emeryville. 

To my disappointment we found NOTHING that we liked.  So, I walked away with a jar to put Indy’s dog treats in and mixing bowl.

However, Sunday Kelly and I came up with the most perfect idea for Noelle’s room….     As soon as it’s done I will post pictures but it will probably be a month or so.
