Anyone who knows me knows how much I love the 4th of July! Yesterday, was a perfect day! My Mom and I took Thomas to the 4th of July parade downtown. The weather was perfect, not to cold and not to hot. Thomas was really excited to see all of the "Army men", fire trucks and police cars. It was really fun to see him so excited. After the parade Kelly, Dave and Noelle came to my house. We had lunch and then went to the community pool. By then it was getting pretty hot so the pool felt great. We had a great time in the water but got a little sunburned. Then we all came home and took a little nap. My Dad came over for a BBQ of hamburgers, potato salad, watermelon, chips and corn on the cob. After dinner we played with the kids a little and got ready to go to my Dads store to watch the fireworks. My Dads store is right across from Lodi Lake so every year since I was a small kid we have gone there and had dessert and watched the fireworks from the parking lot. Overall it was a great day with the family!
